Manager Finance

For one of our customers in the area of Region Breda we are looking for a Financial Manager  

As a Financial Manager you will be responsible for managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting activities, analysing financial records, monitoring of expenses, forecasting revenue, coordinating audit processes and many more tasks. You will be in contact with employees in the Netherlands and other locations for some regular contact with various departments, but also with financial departments in Japan, UK and France

What will your other tasks be?

*Preparation of financial and operational reports, cost reports and financial forecasts on a regular     (monthly) basis in order to control the budget and financial situation; including move the department   to a more digitalized organisation;
*Total accounting system-general ledger-subledger of NL/UK/FR; including effective reporting by   PowerBI reporting
*Adequate processing of all transaction, including J-Sox compliance;
*Total tax package of our company, inclusive contact with local tax advisors throughout Europe and   dealing with TP issues with Japan;
*Supervising the financial department staff (3 a 4 persons);
*Preparing the yearly budget in co-operation with the managers;
*Controlling of correct spending ear-marked donations;
*Preparing the financial statements in cooperation with external accountant;
*Monitoring internal controls;
*Overseeing and preparing income statements;
*Managing financial transactions;
*Streamlining accounting functions and operations;
*Developing plans for financial growth (and reporting in PowerBI);
*Evaluating and managing risk;
*Ensuring accuracy of financial information and analysing financial data;
*Preparing investment calculations and project controlling;
*Supervising the bookkeeping staff; including digitalize processing of invoices etc.;
*Take care of month-quarter-year end closing, including reporting to Japan;
*Set up HY reporting and producing the statutory annual report;
*Substantive knowledge regarding international reporting standards (Dutch GAAP and IFRS);
 Can handle more complex accounting/reporting items (like selling a part of the business, including all   consequences);
*Sparring partner of our Business controller & Finance Director;
*Update knowledge of latest trends in Finance (like digitalizing invoice stream etc.).

Who are we looking for? 
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting; 
You have relevant experience and knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting
You have knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems;
You are flexible and able to work under stress;
You have good communication skills, verbal and written; 
You are enterprising and a team player; 
You have good interpersonal skills; 
You have a high level of English written, spoke and reading;
You have organizational and supervising skills but also a helicopter view while focusing on the process;

What do we offer? 
Market-based salary depending on knowledge, skills and experience; €5000-€6000 obv 40 uur
Hybride werken 50/50
min 28-36 uur

90% voorziening pensioen.
